2008 Presidential Primary Calendar

This may help explain to the globalers about Super Tuesday (also called Fat Tuesday this year since it coincides with Madi Gras--that is the beginning of Lent for Catholics)...Notice that Texas votes in March--eventhough it is a Fat state...hahahaha!

'Miscreants' on the loose in Pakistan - Yahoo! News

I prefer New English to miscreant--what say you, globalers?
Regardless, this writer has an amusing way of leading into his article on the usage of the English word miscreant...

Q&A: Literacy advocate to turn next page | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

I received training in the 1980's with Houston's Neuhaus Education Center and also piloted one of their projects in a public middle school. I highly recommend the reading program and philosophy. Kay Allen will be greatly missed, but her contribution to literacy will continue forever. I can also relate to her current life goal to take some time to have fun and see the world. Cheers to Kay!
