We--Rice University--will be closed tomorrow due to Hurricane Ike...this is a good time to practice using modals by speculating...e.g. The storm could/might/may--and even probably will cause flooding and loss of life and property pending on the magnitude and force of the winds and rain...Also, as I have said before--be smart--If you must drive in Htown--this flat, hugely spread out cement city--don't drown, turn around. seaya Monday!
