Stop! Use the English language now at this moment where ever you are! !

Globalers, it is true that grammar attacks, reading, listening, and writing are important skills in terms of acquiring a language, but I am perfectly convinced that we must force ourselves to use our target language 24/7...yes, think, feel and speak the language--even if you have to talk out loud to yourself!! So, today, I encourage all of my English students (I prefer to say English students instead of students of English) who are all over this great planet called earth, to get with it and speak, speak, and speak some more until you fall into bed tonight with visions of English only captions all around you and in your sweet English dreams. What say you? Oh, you say, "Sure, that's easy for you to say because you are a natural (I like to say "natural" better than "native") English speaker." Okay, well, how is this: I will make the same pledge to speak and think only in German (my target language). So...auf Wiedersehen! Bis Montag--and be ready for a wild morning of English speaking because you are going to speak with powerful intentions to improve your pronunciation in and understanding of English in a way that is fun and friendly--but of course! However, let me warn you, it's going to be an American English only crazy day! Now, start speaking...
